A Sophisticated Woman captures the feeling of a long hot summer as she strikes an elegant and feminine poise resting in partial shade and dappled sunlight. Summertime is an original oil on canvas from artist Michael Rock. Canvas measures 36x18 inches and was created using oils over a textured canvas. Palette knife, dry brush and wet brush techniques were used in this creation. The background suggests a tropical location or perhaps a resort. Sunlight filters through the palm trees with dappled sunlight warming the shaded surroundings.
