MORRO ROCK CLUSTER features a natural cluster of fallen rocks at the base of Morro Rock in Morro Bay California. The bright overhead sunshine casts a natural long lens flare which I felt added to the atmosphere and composition. The natural jagged shapes and sculpted formations of the boulders are contrasted by the soft new grass and ice plants that emerge from the spring rainfall.

Michael Rock is an English born, self-taught artist. It was amongst the beautiful Devon countryside, with its abundance of lush forests, soft rolling pastures, clear rivers and two stunning coastlines, where Michael�s earliest inspiration began for expressing the affection he felt for his surroundings through the use of pencil drawings and paint.
